It's Nice To Meet You

From a young age, I knew I wanted to fight for the underdog. Growing up as a short, skinny, gay kid in a machismo and violent community, I often felt like the underdog myself. My personal experiences fueled my passion to become a therapist who truly understands and supports the LGBTQ+ community. When I struggled to find a therapist who was open about their sexual orientation and had expertise in LGBTQ+ issues, I decided to become that therapist for others.

After leaving my job in Corporate America, I pursued a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. I also became a certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). My extensive training includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), relationship therapy, and mindfulness practices.

My career has been dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space where clients can explore their identities and overcome their challenges. I’ve worked in various clinical positions, including the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, and Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC). These experiences have enriched my understanding and deepened my commitment to serving the LGBTQ+ community.

Today, I integrate my professional expertise and personal journey to provide compassionate and effective therapy.
